We would like to promote “Coffee for Peace” as a social enterprise project to promote peace in the world peace community through Myanmar Coffee by the joint efforts of NHC Sports Management Center, Sithar Coffee, WeRotary, HuaQiao Foundation and Finnish Haaga Helia University of Applied Science
We will temporarily operate out in our 500-sqm office in Dao Valley in Suzhou, but we foresee an imminent need for a bigger office space to cater for much expanded operation.
Our Objective:To assist students to get the Chinese University grants to start their business and contribute the fixed percent of the net income to good cause as they will be social enterprises.
What we offer:To provide free training on starting an e-commerce business selling coffee using "NICCAP", "Nordic Innovative Company Creation Acceleration Program with Finnish Haaga Helia University.
To provide free office space for these social enterprise and they agree to contribute a fixed percent of the net income for good cause
Objective: To train and mentor college start-ups who want to start a social enterprise in selling organic black pepper and organic black coffee to Chinese consumers in an innovative approach.
Target Audience: Limit to 50, 20 Overseas participants and 30 Chinese participants.
Methodology: Using lean start-ups and design thinking approach to let the aspiring entrepreneurs know about how to start a business.
Funding: The Chinese government will grants the college start-ups at RMB 50,000 per student to encourage them to become entrepreneurs. There are other resources they can approach later on once they set up the social enterprises.

Myazedi Specialty Coffee Community of Ywa Ngan, Southern Shan was the first of Myanmar's Specialty Coffee community and one of the earliest batches exported to the United States with support of USAID and Coffee Quality Institute.
Mya Ze Di coffee community of Ywar Ngan and Sithar Coffeesigns a MOU for socioeconomic, educational, and health care development of community while Sithar Coffee to mobilize various institutions and experts and donors from Myanmar,China, Europe, Asia, Oceania and US to input for raising living standards of Mya Ze Di Community, and to becoming a flagship Community in Ywa Ngan.

An innovation curriculum that facilitates accelerated international growth for newly established start-ups by providing networks, contacts, resources and skills
Comprises of three consecutive multidisciplinary and inter-generational hackathons and idea camps that mix students from the participating countries / organizations with the purpose of creating new cross-border companies and expanding the boundary of the innovation ecosystem
850 students are exposed to entrepreneurship and challenges in the silver, green and blue economies
6 new cross-border companies with global potential will be created

We will work with Finland “Lean Services Creation” program to run our CSR Innovation so that we can train the college students or the early stage start-ups on their specific projects. We will try to ask our social enterprises to contribute part of the profit to the social cause they believe in. Our first CSR Innovation which will be one of the themes in 2019 R&D InnoCamp will be in May 2019. The focus of the CSR projects could be global mobile health, CSR start-ups for Roots of Peace Projects, health care or elderly care projects.

Edwin Ngoi is a serial entrepreneur with rich experience in the fields of healthcare, sports and education. He is Founder and CEO of NHC Health International Innovation Center (Suzhou) Co. Ltd, NHC Capital (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. and Venture E (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. He is a member of the Shanghai Singapore Business Association in Shanghai and also a member of the International Education Expert Council of Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in Finland. He enjoys working in philanthropy projects and is a member of the Rotary International.
Prior to this, he held senior management positions at multinational companies such as Teradyne Singapore, BHP Lysaght Taiwan and China (Carrier, Whirlpool, Sara Lee and Lion Nathan China) and Singapore Tee Yih Jia (Baoding) Dairy Food.
He holds an EMBA from the University of San Francisco, an MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a BBA in MIS from Idaho State University.
We will bring Novel Opportunities for new Company Creation and Accelerated growth (NOCCA) from Finland to China, to drum up startup activities at first in Suzhou. This is a hackathon programme that has been operating for two years, involving students from Finland, Estonia and Latvia. The China version of NOCCA will be steered by Finnish experts and we will work with some local universities and polytechnics to participate in the "Hackathone".
We will work with Lab8 to apply VR, AR and MR in our winter sports. LAB8 is a combination of a sales Lab which does buyer-seller interaction analysis, and an eComLab which is a platform for consumer process detection and analysis. We will also use WeChat, Weibo and TV to broadcast and promote the Nordic winter sports in China.
